What TOEFL score do you need for HKU?

For undergraduates the scores must come from the same attempt and the test must be taken within two years before 1 September of the start year. The TOEFL ITP, TOEFL ITP Plus and TOEFL Home Edition are not accepted. The Graduate School also asks for a single attempt within two years, says the Home Edition will not be accepted, and wants the official report sent by ETS direct to the university.

The Faculty of Arts writing rule does not apply to the Centre of Buddhist Studies, and for taught master's it also excludes the MA in Chinese Historical Studies.

On the same undergraduate page, HKU asks IELTS Academic 6.5 with at least 6.0 in Writing and Speaking.
