Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Irbid?

Pearson's test centre finder lists no PTE centre in Irbid. Jordan's two centres, Adoum Cultural Centre and UniHouse, are both in Amman (see our Amman guide).

Read on 30 October 2026 in the providers' own listings for Irbid and in Pearson's price finder with Jordan selected. Pearson charges USD 260 for PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core alike, and USD 220 for PTE Home A1, A2 or B1. IDP's Irbid sessions were JOD 5 cheaper than the British Council's and are the only IELTS for UKVI option in the city.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Irbid and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Register with the same identity document you will bring on test day.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then a centre and a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport for every PTE test, and a passport is the only ID accepted if you test outside your country of citizenship, which covers most expatriate residents.

Results: IELTS on computer results usually arrive within a few days, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
