IELTS test centres in Jaffna
The British Council's booking system lists Jaffna. On 30 October 2026 its IELTS Academic search showed British Council Jaffna with sessions on 7, 12, 14, 15, 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29 November and 5, 6, 10, 12, 13 and 19 December 2026 (the first 15 sessions), all at LKR 77,000.
IDP's Jaffna page showed 328 sessions at IDP IELTS Sri Lanka - British College of Education Jaffna on 29 October 2026, with sessions almost daily in early November. It offers IELTS Academic and General Training at LKR 77,000 and IELTS for UKVI at LKR 82,500, all on computer, and marks the venue as accessible.

How to book, what ID to bring, and when results arrive
IELTS with the British Council: open its booking system, choose Sri Lanka, the test and the city, and pick a session; the search shows the venue, date, time and price before you pay. Its finder says IELTS on computer results arrive in 1 to 5 days. IELTS with IDP: book from IDP's city page, where each session shows the venue, the Writing format, the fee and "Results in 1 to 5 days". Bring the same identity document you registered with.
PTE: book in myPTE (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport in most countries, and the name and date of birth on your booking must match it exactly. Every attempt costs the full fee, so take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test first.
