Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Ras Al Khaimah?

Pearson's test centre finder lists no PTE centre in Ras Al Khaimah. The nearest is The Exam Preparation & Testing House LLC in Sharjah, and there are three in Dubai (see our Sharjah and Dubai guides). PTE Academic costs AED 1,520 across the UAE.

Pearson charges AED 1,520 for PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core alike, and AED 1,290 for PTE Home A1, A2 or B1. CERT HCT's AED 1,395 sessions were AED 195 cheaper than the standard UAE price.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Ras Al Khaimah and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Register with the same identity document you will bring on test day.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then a centre and a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport for every PTE test, and a passport is the only ID accepted if you test outside your country of citizenship, which covers most expatriate residents.

Results: IELTS on computer results usually arrive within a few days, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
