IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Sao Paulo and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Bring the same identity document you entered when you booked.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then the city, a centre and a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport for PTE Academic; if you test outside your country of citizenship, a passport is the only ID accepted, and in your own country another ID is allowed only where Pearson's exceptions list says so.

Results: both IELTS providers list results in 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test to check you are ready.
