Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Sulaymaniyah?

Pearson's test centre finder listed one PTE centre in Sulaymaniyah on 30 October 2026: Interchange Institute, a partner venue.

Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI or PTE Core first and then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

Read on 30 October 2026 in the providers' own listings for Sulaymaniyah and in Pearson's price finder with Iraq selected. Pearson charges USD 290 for PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core alike, and USD 245 for PTE Home A1, A2 or B1. Every Sulaymaniyah IELTS venue charged the same USD 335.

Refund, transfer and payment rules are in our IELTS fee in Iraq and PTE fee in Iraq guides.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Sulaymaniyah and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Register with the same identity document you will bring on test day.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then a centre and a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport for every PTE test, and a passport is the only ID accepted if you test outside your country of citizenship, which covers most expatriate residents.

Results: IELTS on computer results usually arrive within a few days, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
