Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Yaoundé?

Pearson's appointment finder, linked from its test centres and fees page, listed IMAGINE PLUS in Yaoundé on 30 October 2026. It was the only Cameroonian centre the finder showed, so candidates in Douala travel here for PTE.

Pearson's appointment finder shows centres that have PTE Academic slots; it does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. In myPTE, choose PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI or PTE Core first and then the city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

IELTS: book online in the British Council's booking system, choose Yaoundé and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. IDP does not run IELTS in Cameroon. Bring the identity document you registered with.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your passport, choose the test, then a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport for every PTE test; an alternative ID is possible only for citizens testing at home in countries on its exceptions list, so check that list before relying on a national ID card.
