Waivers and final-year students
The IMBRSea Programme Board can waive the proof requirement at its own discretion after assessing the full application. Final-year bachelor's students may apply, but are admitted only if the degree is obtained before 1 September of the intake year.

After admission
Admitted students send hard copies of their diploma and transcript to Ghent University to finish enrolment. IMBRSea's page states no IELTS band minimum, only the overall 6.5.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where IMBRSea publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
