What IELTS score do you need for Khalifa University?

For bachelor's entry the page lists only IELTS Academic and TOEFL iBT, and a Khalifa FAQ confirms that all applicants must meet the English requirement. PTE and Duolingo are not mentioned. Shortlisted applicants also sit the Khalifa University Admission Tests, and applicants must have finished high school within the last two years.

For master's and PhD study the TOEFL iBT Home Edition is not accepted. The English test may be waived, subject to review, for native English speakers from countries such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and for graduates of an English-medium institution who can show IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79 or EmSAT 1400 from when they were admitted to that earlier degree. Applicants must still upload evidence of English with the application.

The undergraduate page says Khalifa University will not offer undergraduate admission for Spring 2027 and that Fall 2027 applications will open soon. Master's applicants also need two referee recommendations, a statement of purpose and an interview.
