How Le Cordon Bleu Australia handles TOEFL scores
The policy sets an overall TOEFL score and a writing minimum, with no other section minimums. It does not state a validity period for TOEFL results.
Le Cordon Bleu Australia gives its TOEFL figures on the 0 to 120 scale. Since January 2026 TOEFL iBT score reports also carry a 1 to 6 band score; see the new TOEFL score scale.
For comparison, the same policy sets Academic IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5) for undergraduate study and 6.5 (no band below 6.0) for postgraduate study.
Your offer and your visa are separate. Home Affairs says that for a TOEFL iBT result to be valid for Australian visa purposes you must select 'Taking TOEFL for Australia' when you register, and it lists TOEFL iBT Home Edition among the online tests it does not accept (Home Affairs English page).

If your TOEFL score is below Le Cordon Bleu's level
The policy also accepts a placement test with one of Le Cordon Bleu's recognised English providers, which recommends a study plan based on the entry requirements. That assessment is valid for three months.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Le Cordon Bleu Australia programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
