What PTE score do you need for Lehigh University?

Lehigh says PTE Academic is not accepted for Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter 2026 admission and will be accepted from Spring 2027 forward. PTE scores are valid for two years from the test date and must still be valid when the I-20 is issued. Unofficial scores (an uploaded copy of the score report) are accepted for the first review, but official scores must come from the testing agency once an offer is made. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same page Lehigh asks for IELTS 6.5 overall in most colleges and 7.0 in the College of Business, so PTE 68 is set against that IELTS level. Specific programmes may ask for more.

Applicants whose scores do not meet the minimums may be considered for admission with conditional English enhancement training required. Some programmes may also interview applicants to assess English, and departments can require extra coursework or workshops later if English becomes a barrier.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Lehigh programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
