LSMU English test and the entrance exam
Applicants without an accepted English certificate must take LSMU's English test. The entrance test is online: an interview a few days before a written exam with 30 Biology and 30 Chemistry questions in 90 minutes. Psychology applicants take Biology and Mathematics instead.
Some bachelor's and master's programmes (for example Nursing, Physiotherapy and Applied Public Health) are exempt from the entrance test. Applicants with qualifications such as NEET 650, A Levels at C and C, the IB Diploma, UCAT 2100, MCAT 505 or IMAT 62 may also be exempt, subject to Biology and Chemistry minimums.

Check the TOEFL figure
LSMU's page lists TOEFL iBT 4.0 for integrated and bachelor's studies but 65 for master's, so confirm the TOEFL score with admissions if you plan to use it. Non-EU applicants to Medicine, Odontology, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine pay a deposit of half the yearly tuition fee.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your LSMU programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
