VMU accepted English tests (B2)

Studies in English and programme exceptions
The requirement applies if English is not your native language or your previous studies were not in English. If they were, submit an official document from your school or university.
Two programmes differ: the Accounting and Finance bachelor's, whose first year is taught in Ukrainian or Russian, needs only A2 English, and the Sociolinguistics and Multilingualism master's accepts only TOEFL and IELTS from applicants outside the partner universities.

No VMU English test
VMU says it does not organise English testing, and certificates that do not meet the listed requirements will be disregarded. Book an accepted test in time for your deadline.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your VMU programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
