Mercer Duolingo minimums by level

How Mercer handles Duolingo scores
Undergraduates whose native language or language of instruction is not English must send an official language test score, even if they apply test optional. Test-optional international applicants also complete an interview with their admissions counsellor.
The business school takes unofficial score reports for the first review and requires an official report on admission. Applicants who completed English Composition I and II at another US institution with a C or higher do not need a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score.
For comparison, the undergraduate page sets IELTS at 6.5, and the engineering graduate page also asks IELTS 6.5.

If your Duolingo score is below Mercer's level
None of the pages sets a Duolingo level for conditional entry. The engineering graduate page accepts a Certificate of Proficiency from the Mercer University English Language Institute, and lists conditional and provisional admission categories without tying them to a test score.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Mercer programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
