Modul University English minimums

Who is exempt
For bachelor's, Modul considers exceptions only for native speakers or students who finished high school entirely in English at recognised international schools with American, British or IB curricula.
For master's, exceptions are for native speakers or students who completed a full bachelor's of at least three years in English and can show proof of the medium of instruction. The admissions committee can still ask for more evidence. Duolingo is listed for bachelor's only.

Foundation Program and interview
Bachelor's applicants who do not meet every requirement may be admitted on condition that they first complete Modul's one-semester Foundation Program, with no separate application. All applicants are invited to an interview after the file is reviewed. The MBA also requires at least three years of professional experience.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Modul University Vienna programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Modul University Vienna publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
