NAIT Duolingo minimums
From NAIT's English language proficiency page.
| Level or programme | Duolingo minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| All programmes (regular ELP) | 115 overall | At least 100 in each integrated subscore |
| Business Administration (provisional admission) | 100 overall | At least 100 in Production |
How NAIT handles Duolingo results
English test results are valid for two years from the test date. NAIT asks you to do two things: select NAIT as a recipient of your results so it can verify them online, and upload a copy in MyNAIT (Open Self Service > Admissions > Submission of Documents). If you skip either step, your decision could be delayed.
For comparison, the same page sets IELTS Academic at 6.0 in each section, with the IELTS One Skill Retake accepted.

If your Duolingo score is below 115
Provisional admission to Business Administration lets you complete NAIT's ESL Level 6 courses within the first 12 months of the programme. If you meet a programme's admission requirements and are currently enrolled in NAIT's ESL Level 6 courses or another listed course, you can receive a conditional offer.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your NAIT programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
