What PTE score do you need for Northeastern University?

Undergraduate results must be official, sent directly from the testing agency, and no more than two years old from the test date. Northeastern does not accept PTE Academic Online, IELTS Indicator, TOEFL Essentials, TOEFL iBT Paper or TOEFL ITP. It focuses on your most recent English test result. The pages do not mention PTE Core.

For comparison, the undergraduate middle 50% range for IELTS Academic is 7.5 to 8.0. The graduate page says most programmes accept TOEFL, IELTS, PTE or Duolingo, with preferred minimums and accepted exams varying by college.

Undergraduates whose English results show a need for more support, but who otherwise meet the academic requirements, may be considered for NU Immerse, a one-year transitional English language support programme. The College of Engineering encourages master's applicants who miss its TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo minimums to apply first to the Global Pathways Program.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Northeastern programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
