If your TOEFL score is below Northern Michigan's level

Undergraduates can also show English through other tests on the apply page, such as MET 55, iTEP 3.7, PTE Academic 50 or Duolingo 95, or with a diploma from a US high school. Neither page sets out a conditional route below the TOEFL minimum.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your NMU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
