What IELTS score do you need for Radboud University?

The (pre-)master's test-score page splits master's programmes into two groups. The 6.5 group includes Business Administration, Economics, Computing Science, Biomedical Sciences, International and European Law, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Political Science and Spatial Planning. The 7.0 group includes Artificial Intelligence, Anthropology and Development Studies, Linguistics, the research master's, Philosophy, Politics and Society, Psychology (Behaviour Change, and Work, Organisation and Health) and Theology.

Pre-master's programmes ask for IELTS 6.0 with 6.0 in each section, or 6.5 with 6.0 in each for a second group that includes Biology, Computing Science and Global Communication and Diversity.

IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and LanguageCert results are valid for two years after the test date and must still be valid on the date you enrol. Cambridge C1 and C2 results count for five years, except at the Nijmegen School of Management, where every test is valid for two years. Radboud says to contact admissions if your PTE or LanguageCert sub-scores deviate slightly from the minimums.

For master's, a bachelor's taught fully in English in the EU/EEA, or in listed countries such as Australia, Canada, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, the UK and the USA, meets the requirement, per the master's English page. India and Pakistan are not on that list. The bachelor's English page accepts English-taught EU/EEA secondary diplomas, the IB with set English grades and many European school-leaving certificates.

You can apply without a test, but the submission page sets 1 June as the deadline for non-EU/EEA students so the visa procedure can start.
