What TOEFL score do you need for Regis University?

Official scores go directly to the Regis University Office of Admissions, in a sealed envelope or by email to your admission counsellor; the Regis TOEFL code is 4656. The admissions team may request additional documentation or another test score. The page gives no section minimums or validity period.

For comparison, the same page sets IELTS at 6.0 or higher.

TOEFL iBT score reports issued since January 2026 also carry a 1 to 6 band score alongside the 0 to 120 total; see our guide to the new TOEFL score scale. Where a page above gives only a 0 to 120 figure, that is the figure this guide reports.

Regis has no in-house ESL programme. Other accepted proof includes an official certificate of Level 6 English Language Acquisition completion at New America College, SAT evidence-based reading and writing of 650, ACT English of 27, a C or better in a college English class at a regionally accredited US institution, or a completed US degree. Citizens of Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK are exempt.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Regis programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
