Rider PTE minimum
From Rider's graduate admission requirements page.
| Programme or band | PTE overall | Minimum per skill |
|---|---|---|
| Graduate (MBA, MAcc, MS and certificates) | 53 | None stated |
Test rules and how to send your score
The page asks non-native English speakers and graduates of universities in non-English-speaking countries for proof of English. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code; it prints only Rider's TOEFL code. Send your PTE score through your Pearson account and confirm receipt.
IELTS is 6.5 on the same page, so PTE 53 is the PTE route to that level.

If you fall short
Students with scores below the minimum are considered for conditional admission through Rider's English Language Institute. The requirement may be waived for students who attended international schools; email global@rider.edu for details.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Rider programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
