Test rules and how to send your score
Scores are official only when sent directly to Rivier or electronically verifiable by Rivier. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code.
IELTS is 5.5 on the same page, so PTE 49 is the PTE route to that level.

If you fall short
You may not need a test if you earned a US degree, completed two years of full-time study in the US, are a citizen of an Anglophone country, or completed English courses at a CEA-accredited institution. The page does not describe conditional admission.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Rivier programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
