How Roanoke handles Duolingo scores
Roanoke asks you to upload test scores directly to your admissions portal or email them to admissions@roanoke.edu. One English test is required of all freshmen and transfers whose native language is not English. The page gives no Duolingo validity period.

Roanoke also considers CEFR levels, Cambridge exam scores, IB English Language grades of A or B, or a letter from a school official confirming English-medium instruction. The Director of International Recruitment can advise on other options.
