Rose-Hulman English requirements by level

SAT and ACT exemption
Undergraduates are exempt from the TOEFL or IELTS requirement with 500 or higher on the SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing section, or 21 or higher on the ACT English section. All other international applicants for whom English is a second language must submit TOEFL or IELTS scores, according to the page.

Deadlines and how to check
International students can apply Early Action (deadline 1 November, decision by 15 December) or Regular Decision. Early Action is non-binding and the enrolment deposit is not due until 1 May. Graduate applications are due 1 February.

Minimum vs competitive score
Where Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
