Sciences Po Duolingo minimums by programme
From Sciences Po's graduate language requirements page and the programme requirements sheet it links to. French-taught programmes generally ask for no English proof. This guide covers master's entry; bachelor's applicants should check the undergraduate language requirements page.

How Sciences Po handles Duolingo scores
Sciences Po says language tests are valid for two years only. For the 2027 intake, tests must have been taken on 1 January 2025 or later. Results must be attached directly to the online application before the programme's deadline; without them the application is not considered.
If you apply to two programmes with different requirements, you must meet the higher one. Even where a programme asks for no English level at entry, students must prove C1 English by the end of their two years to obtain the master's degree.

If your Duolingo score is below 130
The pages read do not describe a conditional offer or pre-sessional route for applicants below the minimum, and the score must be submitted by the deadline. Exemptions exist for applicants who studied at least two consecutive years in a degree programme taught fully in English, or who hold certain English-medium school qualifications, as listed on the graduate page.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Sciences Po programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
