What Duolingo score do you need for Semmelweis University?

Health-science applicants upload an English language certificate or equivalent document to the university's Semaphor online admission platform. The pages expect upper intermediate English and list CEFR B2 among accepted results. They state no validity period for the certificate.

The oral entrance exam is held on Zoom roughly once every two weeks from February to mid-August, and dates are released to applicants who have submitted their application in Semaphor.

For comparison, the same programme pages list IELTS 5.5 alongside Duolingo 85.

For Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, no certificate is needed: the written entrance test covers General English and Biomedical English, and for Medicine the interview also checks communication in English. The health-science pages name no conditional Duolingo level below 85.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Semmelweis programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
