What Duolingo score do you need for Shenandoah University?

Both pages state that the Duolingo English Test must be taken within two years of submission. Unlike TOEFL, where nursing, health professions and music therapy need a higher pre-2026 score, the Duolingo figure is the same for all programmes on these pages.

The graduate page notes that CAS systems require official TOEFL and IELTS scores only, so applicants using those services should follow each system's own instructions. Neither page gives a Duolingo subscore rule.

For comparison, the same first-year page sets IELTS at 6.5 or higher.

The pages do not describe conditional admission. Other routes include successful completion of an approved English language programme, a B or better in the equivalent of ENG 101 at a US institution, Cambridge English 176 or higher, and set SAT or ACT scores. Some post-professional graduate applicants can use a US licence.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Shenandoah programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
