Test rules and comparison with IELTS
Scores must be received within two years of the test date to be valid. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core or a Pearson code.
On the same page, IELTS is 6 for undergraduates and 6.5 for graduates, and TOEFL iBT rises from 72 to 79. PTE stays at 53 for both.

If you fall short
Both levels accept an ELS Academic English level 112 certificate. Undergraduates can also use SAT 900 or ACT 19, and graduate applicants can use an earned US degree.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your SCSU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
