Who does not need a test
Students from the countries the page lists do not need to provide proof of English proficiency. The list includes Australia, Canada (except Quebec), the Irish Republic, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and several Caribbean and Pacific countries.

How to check
SOU does not accept English proficiency results as faxes, scans, photocopies or opened documents, and decisions are made about two to three weeks after all documents arrive. Graduate applicants should check the academic department website for programme-specific scores.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admission cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your SOU programme page and in your admission letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Southern Oregon University publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
