Other ways to meet the requirement
A grade of B or better in WR 121 from a regionally accredited US college or university meets the requirement once Oregon Tech receives an official transcript.
ACT and SAT are not required for international admission, but the page says students may take either test as justification to waive TOEFL or IELTS.

How to send scores and check
TOEFL, IELTS and Duolingo scores must be sent officially by the testing companies. Oregon Tech's TOEFL code is 4587. Because there is no English programme on campus, applicants who need ESL must complete it at another institution first.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admission cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Oregon Tech programme page and in your admission letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Oregon Institute of Technology publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
