Other routes, and graduate study
Undergraduates can also qualify with SAT Reading 20 or ERW 400, ACT English 15, ELS Level 112, LanguageCERT 60, graduation from an English-medium high school or university with a 2.5 GPA and a principal's letter, IGCSE or O Level grades of C or above in the listed subjects, or completion of St. Cloud State's Intensive English Center. Graduate applicants without an exemption choose from TOEFL, IELTS Academic or Duolingo, and some TOEFL tiers lead to conditional language admission with Intensive English Center Level 5 first.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your St. Cloud State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
