Other tests and band minimums
The course guide gives only the IELTS figure for undergraduate courses, with no band minimums, and refers applicants to GCA's Student Selection and Admissions Procedure for detail. PTE, TOEFL and Duolingo equivalents are not printed in the guide, so ask UBSS or your agent for the accepted alternatives before booking.
For postgraduate courses the Speaking and Writing minimums matter as much as the overall score: an IELTS 6.5 with 5.5 in Writing would not meet the MBA requirement as stated.

Campuses and how to check
The Bachelor of Business and its nested awards are offered in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, face to face or blended, and the MBA is also offered fully online for domestic and offshore international students. Intakes include a September trimester.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UBSS course page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where UBSS, the business school of Group Colleges Australia (GCA) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
If you are close to the line, aim for a margin above it: one weak skill can miss the requirement even when the overall band clears it. Not sure where you stand? Take a free IELTS mock test and get a band for each skill.
