English-medium certificates
Bachelor's applicants whose high school courses were taught in English can provide an official certificate that the teaching language was fully English. Master's applicants who completed a degree taught entirely in English may submit an official medium-of-instruction letter instead of a test report.
PTE and Duolingo are not named on these pages. Bachelor's applicants must also submit a CSCA certificate in Mathematics.

Intakes, deadlines and fees
Bachelor's applications run from 20 October to 31 December for the spring semester and 20 March to 30 June for the autumn semester each year. The application fee is RMB 660, and tuition for Economics is 49,750 yuan a year. The MIF and MIEC notices set an online application deadline of 15 March 2027.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UIBE programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
