How UCA handles TOEFL scores

UCA accepts TOEFL iBT but not the online test. For a degree course, a non-SELT test such as TOEFL must be taken within two years of your start date. The page does not mention MyBest scores or an institution code.

For comparison, the same page asks undergraduates for IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each skill and master's applicants for IELTS 6.5 with 5.5 in each.

If your TOEFL score is below UCA's level

UCA runs pre-sessional English courses, including English for Art and Design and English for Business, for students who have accepted a conditional offer. The page says a student visa for a below-degree course such as pre-sessional needs a Home Office recognised test and lists IELTS for UKVI, LanguageCert, PTE UKVI, Trinity and PSI, not TOEFL.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UCA programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
