How Cumbria handles TOEFL scores
All accepted tests on the page have two years' validity. The page lists TOEFL iBT without saying whether the Home Edition or MyBest scores count, and it gives no institution code. It gives TOEFL figures on the 1 to 6 scale only.
For comparison, the same page asks standard undergraduates for IELTS Academic 6.0 with 5.5 in each area and standard postgraduates for 6.5 with 5.5.

If your TOEFL score is below Cumbria's level
If you do not meet the English criteria, Cumbria offers online English pre-sessional courses (OPSE). It also accepts its own internal Password test at the IELTS-equivalent levels.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Cumbria programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
