UIndy English requirements by level
From UIndy's international application how-to guide and the international graduate requirements page. The graduate page states the institutional minimum as 79, a TOEFL iBT figure, and gives no separate IELTS number.

Other ways to qualify
Undergraduates can also submit a graduation certificate from an approved ESL programme, GCSE, AS-Level, A-Level or IB results, or confirm that they are native English speakers educated in an English-medium system.
Graduate applicants should ask their admissions counselor or programme director for programme-specific requirements, since some programmes set higher proficiency levels. Results must be sent directly from the testing service; UIndy's TOEFL code is 1321.

Conditional admission
UIndy's ESL programmes page says undergraduates who meet all admission requirements other than English proficiency can receive a letter of conditional admission. You ask for it on the application form.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admission cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UIndy programme page and in your admission letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where the University of Indianapolis (UIndy) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
