What IELTS score do you need for Indiana University Northwest?

At both levels, WAEC's Senior Secondary Certificate of Examinations (SSCE), the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and the Ordinary Level Certificate count at grade A or B, and Cambridge IGCSE, GCE or GCE O Level at C or higher. Completing an ESL programme at a regionally accredited US institution also counts.

You are exempt if you graduated from a high school, completed university-level coursework or are a citizen of a country IU Northwest considers English-native; the page publishes the list. Graduates of US high schools, or students who completed the equivalent of ENG-W 131, are exempt from the documentation and from further English placement testing.

Meeting the admission requirement does not end testing. All first-time international undergraduates and transfer students take placement exams in English and mathematics on arrival unless exempt. The page does not state a score validity period.
