How the University of Lethbridge handles TOEFL scores

Both the TOEFL iBT and the TOEFL iBT Home Edition are accepted, and scores must come from tests taken within two years before the date of application. The pages give the university's ETS Destination Institution (DI) code as 0855. No MyBest rule is stated.

For comparison, the undergraduate page and the graduate page both ask IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each band, and accept IELTS One Skill Retake results.

If your TOEFL score is below the University of Lethbridge's level

At graduate level, Conditional English Proficiency Admission lets you start in the university's English for Academic Purposes programme, normally at the Advanced Level, if you meet the academic requirements, reach the conditional score above and are recommended by your graduate Program Committee. You must complete the Advanced Level in the term set in your offer and then begin your degree; the School of Graduate Studies gives no financial support during EAP.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Lethbridge programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
