How UL handles Duolingo scores
Postgraduate applicants must include an English language competency certificate dated within the last two years, along with English translations of their qualifications. Postgraduate candidates may also be asked to show their English by interview.
For comparison, the same pages ask for IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component, noting that some programmes ask for higher IELTS scores.

If your Duolingo score is below 120
Offer holders who do not meet the requirement can study pre-sessional English at the UL Language Centre on campus, the postgraduate page says. Applicants who completed two or more years of bachelor's study, or a whole degree, through English in a country where English is the official language of instruction meet the requirement.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UL programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
