If your TOEFL score is below UNM's level
UNM can issue an undergraduate conditional admission letter through CELAC. You complete CELAC's English programme and, with CELAC's recommendation, move into academic study with a new I-20. CELAC's page repeats the undergraduate level (68 iBT or 520 paper-based) and lists 79 iBT for graduate study.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UNM programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
