Test rules at UNNC

Both pages say only offline English test scores are accepted, so an at-home test will not count. The postgraduate page lists MSc Urbanism and Sustainable Environments, Electronic Communications and Computer Engineering, Innovative Design, and Intelligent Infrastructure and Management at the same level as Computer Science; the MBA has its own course page. Neither page states a validity period or institution code.

On the same pages, Year 1 entry is IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.0 in any element, Year 2 is IELTS 6.5 with writing at 6.0, and IELTS One Skill Retake is accepted for postgraduate entry.

If your TOEFL score falls short

UNNC's Centre for English Language Education runs pre-master programmes for students preparing for postgraduate study, and the postgraduate page says successful completion of the pre-sessional programme meets the English requirement for postgraduate admission.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UNNC programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
