What Duolingo score do you need for the University of Sussex?

Both pages say the Duolingo English Test must have been taken within two years of the start of the course, and that you will need to share your results with the University of Sussex.

For comparison, the postgraduate page sets IELTS Academic at 6.0 with 5.5 in each component for standard, 6.5 with 6.0 for high and 7.0 with 6.5 for advanced; the undergraduate page uses the same standard and advanced IELTS levels.

Successful completion of the appropriate Sussex pre-sessional English course can be used to meet the English requirement and gain entry to your degree. The postgraduate page also lists passing the Sussex Centre for Language Studies pre-sessional English course as a route.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Sussex programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
