UniSC test rules

UniSC says English test results are valid for two years from the test date and must be less than two years old when your program starts. If you submit more than one result, UniSC may base its assessment on the most recent test. Programs in Table 2, such as the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), can only be met through the criteria in that table. The page gives no Duolingo-specific instructions for sending scores.

For comparison, the same table sets undergraduate study at IELTS Academic 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each subtest, and postgraduate coursework at 6.5 with at least 6.0.

If you are applying for a full degree

Full degree applicants need another test or evidence from Table 1, such as UniSC-approved English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 2 or 3, or study in English in a listed country within the last five years.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UniSC programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
