UQ College test rules

The page states that Duolingo English Test results are only accepted by UQ College and cannot be used for direct entry to The University of Queensland. So Duolingo can get you into the Foundation Program, but not straight into a UQ degree. The page gives no Duolingo-specific rules on validity or sending scores.

For comparison, the same page asks for IELTS 5.5 with no sub-score below 5.0 for the Standard program, and 6.0 with writing 6.0 and other sub-scores 5.5 or above for Accelerated.

If your Duolingo score falls short

Qualifications with an English subject marked on the page's academic requirements table can also meet the English requirement, and if you miss the English subject result you may still be eligible with an approved test score.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UQ College programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
