Monash College Duolingo minimums

Monash College test rules
The Foundation Year page says that if you do not have a recent recognised test result, you can take the Duolingo English Test to enter Monash English, and Monash College will recognise your overall and band scores alongside your performance in the long turn answers. The pages give no validity period or sending instructions for Duolingo.
For comparison, the same pages ask for IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0 for the Standard Foundation Year and Diploma Part 1, and IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0 for Nursing packages.

If your Duolingo score falls short
If you complete the required level of Monash English, you can enter the Foundation Year without a test score. The Diploma page says applicants without a recent result can take the Monash English Placement Test to enter Monash English.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Monash College programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
