Warwick TOEFL test rules

Both pages accept TOEFL iBT and the iBT Home Edition. MyBest scores are not accepted, and all components on a single test date must meet the level. The postgraduate page says Warwick accepts only the single most recent test date and does not accept the paper test. The undergraduate page says that where you have taken more than one English test, only the most recent result counts.

For comparison, the postgraduate bands page sets Band A at IELTS 6.5 with no component below 6.0.

If your TOEFL score is below Warwick's level

Undergraduates who do not meet the requirement in full may still be offered a place on condition of meeting the Pre-sessional English entry level and completing that course. The postgraduate bands page lists 6-week and 10-week pre-sessional entry points in IELTS terms only.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Warwick programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
