Wentworth English minimums
From Wentworth's English proficiency requirement page. It applies one standard to all applicants whose first language is not English and does not set separate undergraduate and graduate levels.

Exemptions and other evidence
Students whose secondary education took place in a listed English-speaking country are exempt, as are students with a bachelor's degree from a listed country. Being born in a listed country does not count if you went to secondary school elsewhere.
Other routes are three years of college-preparatory English at an English-language high school, a C or higher in English I and II on a US college transcript, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing of 525, an ACT reading score of 18 with an English score of 20, or completion of a listed ESL programme level with a recommendation letter.

Validity
TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic and Duolingo scores are valid for two years, and older scores are not accepted. The page does not mention conditional admission.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admission cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Wentworth programme page and in your admission letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Wentworth Institute of Technology publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
