Test rules and how to send your score
The page asks you to select West Texas A&M University as a recipient when sending PTE scores. It does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core or set a PTE score age. It does list exclusions for other tests: TOEFL Essentials, TOEFL MyBest scores and IELTS One Skill Retake are not accepted.

If you fall short
If the language of instruction at your current or most recent school is 100% English, the school can send WT a letter saying so, issued by the Registrar's Office or equivalent and sent directly by school email or sealed post. Freshmen can also use ACT English 21 or SAT EBRW 560. The page does not describe conditional admission.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your West Texas A&M programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
