Test rules and how to send your score
If you took PTE Academic, submit your score report through the My Warrior Life portal; ACT, SAT, TOEFL and Duolingo scores are sent by the testing agency instead. The page does not set a score age or mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.
In the same table, IELTS is 5.5 for undergraduates and 6.5 for graduate study, and TOEFL iBT is 68 and 80. The Pre-Licensure Nursing Program lists only TOEFL iBT 84 (speaking 26) or IELTS 6.5 (6.0 in all modules), so PTE is not shown as an option there.

If you fall short
The page says the requirement may be waived in some cases and asks you to log into the My Warrior Life portal with questions about your situation. It does not describe conditional admission or a pathway with a PTE entry point.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Winona State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
