What PTE score do you need for Winthrop University?

Both pages name PTE Academic and PTE Academic Online, so the at-home test is accepted. The undergraduate page says official score reports must be sent directly from the testing agency to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Neither page mentions PTE Core or gives a PTE score age.

On the same pages, undergraduates need IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score lower than 5, and graduate applicants need IELTS 6 (6.5 for the MBA/MSAA programme). PTE 47 applies at both levels.

Completing level 112 of the ELS Intensive English for Academic Purposes programme meets the requirement at both levels. Undergraduates can also qualify by graduating from a high school where English is the main language of instruction, or by completing two full-time semesters and two English composition courses at an accredited US institution with a C- or higher.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Winthrop programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
